Facilities Services at Washington State University
Facilities Services is the result of the planned merger in 2010 of Facilities Operations and Capital Planning and Development. The merger of these two organizations brings together many skilled professionals and staff to support the University’s mission and positions the University to make comprehensive capital and life cycle costs decisions that leverage our resources.
We are a service organization of 400 dedicated individuals. We plan, design and construct the physical facilities and environments of the University at its Pullman, Vancouver, Tri-Cities and Spokane campus locations, as well as our research stations throughout the state. We also maintain, operate and improve the Pullman campus buildings, grounds, utilities and related services.
Our goal is to be the University’s service provider of choice. We believe in collaboration with the campus. Our staff of motivated professionals have a commitment to integrity and professionalism.
It is our commitment to the university community and to the community-at-large to create a lasting Cougar heritage through respectful stewardship of our beautiful facilities and open spaces.
Please take time to browse through our website to get to know us. We look forward to working with you in support of our University’s journey towards becoming one of the nation’s leading land-grant universities, preeminent in research and discovery, teaching and engagement.
