Public Works Bid – Puyallup Research and Extension Center Kalkus Hall Siding Replacement

Sealed bids are being requested by the Board of Regents of Washington State University, for the above referenced project.

Project Scope: The scope of work for this project generally includes; demolish board and batten wood siding as shown per plan, remove and reinstall wall mounted fixtures and devices. Install weather barrier and sheet metal siding per plan, and fabricate and install all related metal flashing and trim. Substantial Completion shall be achieved by May 1, 2027.  Proposals MUST BE based on this Contract Time. Project Physical address: 2606 W Pioneer Ave, Puyallup WA 98371.

Alternate No.1 – Demolish hypalon membrane and install new sheet metal cap flashing per details.

Alternate No.2 – Prepare, prime, and paint exposed wood window trim surfaces to match Type “A” metal panel.

Alternate No.3 – Demolish wood trim, install sheet metal column wrap and trim per exterior details. Color to match Type “B” siding.

Alternate No.4 – Prepare, prime, and paint exterior gypsum board soffit.
