135 Departmental Classroom Service

Definition: A space that directly serves one or more departmental classrooms as an extension of theactivities in that space.

Description: Includes projection rooms, telecommunications control booths, preparationrooms, coat rooms, closets, storage areas, etc., if they serve classrooms.

Limitations: Does not include projection rooms, coat rooms, preparation rooms, closets, or storage areas if such spaces serve laboratories, conference rooms, meeting rooms, assembly facilities, etc. A projection booth in an auditorium (not used primarily for scheduled classes) is classified as Assembly Service (615).
