637 Food Staples Storage

Definition: A food preparation space devoted to the storage of food staples that directly serves a food facility as an extension of the activities in that facility.

Description: Food staples storage is a Food Facility Service (635), but has been given its own use code to provide greater reporting detail.

Limitations: Does not include any type of food preparation space that does not serve a food facility or eating area (see Food Facility-630).
