746 Public Vehicle Garage Service

Definition: A space that directly serves a public vehicle garage facility as an extension of the activities in that facility.

Description: Includes any areas or rooms directly serving an public vehicle garage facility, such as storage rooms and areas used for maintenance and repair of automotive equipment, boats, airplanes, and other vehicles as defined in Public Vehicle Garage (741).

Limitations: Does not include shops as defined in Shop (720) (e.g., carpenter, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.). Offices within a Vehicle Storage facility should be classified as Office (310).
