Facilities Services maintains a Small Works Roster of contractors per the requirements of WAC 504-50-080. Whenever the estimated cost of any construction, building, renovation, remodeling, alteration, repair, or improvement of real property does not exceed three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000), excluding tax, the Department of Facilities Service at Washington State University, is authorized to use the Small Works Roster in lieu of public advertisement for bids.

Re-Bid – Stadium Way Crosswalk Improvements

Sealed bids were requested by the Board of Regents of Washington State University, for the above referenced project.

Project Scope:

Install one new crosswalk and related signage on Stadium Way near the intersection with College Avenue on the Pullman Campus of Washington State University. Work includes new ADA ramps, new solar-powered flashing beacons and MUTCD signs, and crosswalk signage. At existing crossing, signage and street markings will be removed and ADA ramps filled in with new curbs. Substantial Completion shall be achieved in 30 days from Notice to Proceed.
Proposals MUST BE based on this Contract Time.

Bid – Repair/Replace Sidewalk/Pathway Along Orchard Dr.

Bid – EEME Install Additional DX Units in 106

Project Scope:

This project at the Electrical Mechanical Engineering Building will add additional cooling capacity and a UPS system to server room 106 per the approved construction drawings. Construction and demolition will take place in server room 106 and the ground level mechanical room 003A, with a new cooling unit to be placed on the roof of the building. General scope includes removing and reconfiguring existing duct work, installing new duct work to create a hot and cold isle, installing a new DX “ACU-3/CU-3” cooling system, removing an existing power conditioner, and installing owner supplied UPS system per construction drawings. On-site work scheduling must be coordinated with the WSU Construction Manager and IT Systems and Services staff. Contract time shall be 190 days from Notice to

Although the damage progression appears to be fairly slow, we want to repair these areas to prevent further deterioration and extend the useful life of the structures. Bid – Stadium Way Roadways: Repave Stadium Way, Wilson Road to Cougar Way

This project will grind existing asphalt and overlay new asphalt on Stadium Way on the Pullman Campus of Washington State University per the drawings and specifications. Sections of road starts at the north end of the Vogel Building and continues to the NE North Fairway Dr intersection, approximately 840 linear feet of roadway. Contract Time: Substantial completion shall be achieved by August 1, 2024 after spring classes have ended. Proposals must be based on this contract time.

Alternate 6 – Regrade and realign the Flag Lane and Stadium Way intersection, and the Flag Lane and Cougar Way intersection as per JUB drawings C3.00 and C3.01 and related specifications. Work includes modifications to adjacent concrete sidewalks, including ADA ramps, concrete curb, and stamped asphalt road pavement. Two traffic light fixtures will be relocated.
